Jacques Marescaux, a renowned Professor of Surgery, is the visionary President and Founder of IRCAD, pioneering the Institute of Image-Guided Surgery (IHU Strasbourg). This groundbreaking institute revolutionizes surgery in the information era. He also established the European Institute for Telesurgery (EITS) to disseminate IRCAD's innovative work. Over 27 years, IRCAD trained 45,000 surgeons from 124 countries, gaining global acclaim.
