An Ideas Market to Allow Small Projects to Join Forces

This session is an innovation to create guided serendipity. Mixed teams of participants get the opportunity to discover and work together on research ideas that are of mutual interest. The objective is to create innovation on the spot by investigating shared interests and strengths and turn them into innovative proposals. This process is also known as sectoral contamination. The teams submit the innovative proposals to a panel of experts for feedback. The best submissions win a - modest - award, as an incentive to develop their ideas further.
