Chuan Cheng is a thoracic surgeon currently serving as an attending physician at New Taipei Municipal Tu-Cheng Hospital (Chang Gung). She completed her medical degree at Chang Gung University School of Medicine in 2016 and subsequently pursued rigorous training in thoracic surgery at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Linko branch. With a strong passion for advancing the field of thoracic surgery, Chuan Cheng has made significant contributions through her research and clinical work. She has a particular interest in fields of robotic surgery and localization of lung nodules. Research includes publications in single-port robotic thoracic surgery, intraoperative lung nodule localization in hybrid operating rooms, subxiphoid thymectomy, sympathetic nerve reconstruction and the relationship between liver cirrhosis and esophageal cancer. She has received recognition and awards for her research, including the prestigious Young Investigator Award at the Annual Meeting of the Taiwan Association of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery.
